IN THE NEWS
STATE & EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETINGS Mark your calendars, the DKGNJ State Meeting will be at Steinert High School on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00 AM, followed by the Omicron Executive Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, September 9th at 5:30 PM at Beth's home in Forked River. These meetings are open to all members. Officers and certain committee chairs are expected to attend if requested. Both of these meetings are great opportunities to learn more about our organization, share your ideas, and enhance fellowship with your sisters, both at the chapter and state levels. OMICRON FALL ROAD TRIP Omicron Chapter has organized a fun-filled afternoon in early October for 20 members who signed up to meet at a Manahawkin restaurant, enjoy a meal, then head over to the Surflight Theater to see "Steel Magnolias." We are looking forward to a fun afternoon! An email will be sent in late September to remind participants of the trip details. OMICRON'S OCTOBER 16th MEETING Our first chapter business meeting will be on October 16 at 5:00 PM at the Lacey Library in Forked River. In addition to our chapter business, one of our sisters, Colleen, will be presenting a program about managing stress in our lives. We hope you'll be able to join us as we begin our next biennium! |
